Heartiest congratulations to LionsBot, one of Singapore’s key robotics and automation companies for officially launching their family of cleaning robots at Gardens by the Bay on 17 July 2019! After months of collaborating on the robot shell designs and fabricating the various version prototypes through 3D printing, it was extremely heart-warming for our team to attend this auspicious ceremony to witness the ‘going live’ of these extremely adorable robots that could scrub, mop, vacuum, sweep, shine and even transport cleaning equipment! Apparently, we were also told that the cleaning bots could speak 4 languages, make jokes, sing and rap!
P.S. Some of you may have already seen the first two cleaning robots deployed at the National Gallery Singapore and Jewel Changi Airport since 2018! The rest of the robots will be progressively deployed to government institutions, hotels and shopping malls by early 2020.
